Business Professionals of America Mission Statement: 

To contribute to the preparation of a world-class workforce through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic, and technological skills.

BPA is 

a State and National Career & Technical Student Organization for Middle-Level, Secondary, and Post-Secondary students pursuing careers in business related career fields such as Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Management, and Office Administration.

The Workplace Skills Assessment Program 

assesses real-world business skills in the following areas:  Business Administration, Digital Communication & Design, Finance, Management Information Systems, and Management, Marketing, & Communications on the local, state, and national level.

​

The Torch Awards Program and the BPA Cares Program

recognizes members and local chapters for their leadership and service to their community.

​

Fall, State and National Leadership Conferences

​

develop leadership skills such as problem-solving, public speaking, team work, and time management.

BPA IL Association programs and activities are an integral part of classroom instruction that support and reinforce

National Business and Illinois Learning Standards, Workplace Skills, and Employability Skills.
